I came across a used 2019 M3 that has a dual motor badge with a single motor vin. It is a couple of hours from me so I haven't had hands on it. Seems fishy.....or is the vin decoder wrong?

The person could have just added the badge themselves for fun. The VIN is most definitely not wrong (unless they put the wrong VIN on the listing, of course).

The listing says it's a Standard Range Plus. If my memory is correct, the SR+ has only ever been RWD. Sounds like somebody stuck a badge on that the car didn't "earn."

that is what I am thinking. one thing I dont understand is the used market pricing? 400 less than a brand new on not including the federal deduction....

Standard Plus on the screen ...so it is not a dual motor
