Ok, I left the side door of my garage opened the other night. I have a M3.
A thief penetrated the garage, opened the car (it wasn't locked), disconnected the car from the connector.
The thief also looked into the glove box, stole the garage opener, looked into the trunk.
But his luck stopped here. He couldn't start the car as I never leave a key card nor my phone in the car.

So I had to change the other garage opener setting, homelink.

I was dumb to leave the door open but I am really happy I didn't leave a card in the car...

100% activate the PIN to drive feature, so if you ever do leave a keycard in there it still could not be driven away. PIN entry on the glovebox too!

Yup, stuff sometimes. Makes me feel even that much more grateful that these cars aren’t very easy to steal.
