EAP Terminology

Is it just me or does it bother anyone else that so many people use the term EAP so loosely? They say they were using EAP when this or that happened. What part(s) of EAP were you using?

EAP covers several subsystems:
- TACC
- AutoSteer
- Auto Lane Change
- Navigation on AutoPilot
- AutoPark
- Summons

I think most mean EAP when they have TACC and/or AutoSteer enabled. But you can use TACC without AutoSteer.

It would certainly help with understanding the issues if they would better specify what is enabled and what is not.

If we’re getting nit picky, it’s “Summon” - “summons” are what you get when you have to go to court
