It'll send basically a 1k GPS location of disengaging, but that's about it- no video or pics or detailed data.

99.9% of data collection is stuff it can collect passively regardless of the paid features on the car, like "send me pictures if you think you saw a bicycle" or "send me the log of what % of a route you thought was ok to have AP available on (regardless of if the car even has AP)"

that very link said they collect disengagement reports. I get that they can still collect data but if the person isn't using AP in the first place it's likely not as valuable for certain scenarios.

FSD has been $8000 total cost since 2016.

It's just gone up to 9k and now 10k with them hiding the difference in the price of the car by making basic AP '"free"
