This came up in the P100D delivery sub-thread. I didn't think much about it then, until I saw what it's apparently supposed to look like.
If you are picking up your P100D soon, you might want to force this issue. It's probably minor for many people. It's, in fact, minor for me. I think it's an interesting badge of honor for early P100D owners.
It looks like some of us got the underline length of the P90 for our P100's, while some of us are getting the full underline.
I didn't see a specific thread on this topic, so I thought I would start one. If their is, I apologize now to the moderators who will no doubt merge me to the correct place.
My car was a P90 until the last minute when I was able to upgrade. We'd need far more data points to figure out if the shorter underline was only applicable to P90s upgrade to P100s at the last minute versus P100 orders from the start. That's just an complete guess on why it's this way.
I did contact my delivery specialist and asked to have them send me the correct part. Mostly to see what they say about it. She denied it was wrong the first time I brought it up, but now I've sent her photo evidence I don't think that will fly.
