Earthing system and Control Pilot Error (CP_A058)

I have been encoutered with multiple scenarios with the same issue: a CP_a058 alert that prevents 2021 3 / Y from charging with mobile connector (Tesla and After market products), while none of those In cord control device reports any errors.
According to the latest vehicles owner's manual, a CP_A058 could be:

  • The charge port is unable to detect whether a charge cable is inserted or detect the type of charge cable connected.
  • Your vehicle is unable to sense a valid pilot control signal coming from the charging station, so it cannot communicate effectively with the external charging equipment.
  • Communication between your vehicle and the external charging equipment has been interrupted.
  • The external charging equipment has reported an error that prevents your vehicle from charging.
None of them solves any scenarios: the connectors are clean from obstacles; proximity pilot resistance reads normal; minimal noise was registered by the oscilloscope that measures the control pilot.

Until i personally visit one of them. The effective solution, despite being expendient, is to disconnect the protection earthing conductor.

Any of you manage to clear a CP_A058?
