There is a BOEM (Bureau of Ocean Energy Management) meeting in Raleigh NC on February 26th 2018 to get public comment on the new offshore drilling plan that will now open up the entire east coast, with the exception of Florida, to offshore drilling, starting in 2019.

I'm part of a group, the Surfrider Foundation, organizing opposition from the Outer Banks, and we were wondering if any of my fellow Tesla owners would be interested in attending the meeting. We firmly believe that it does not make economic sense to endanger billions of tourism income and the jobs that come with it for the benefit of a few oil jobs.
