As a non-owning, east coast line waiter this is exciting news.
Still hopeful to get invite before my (current) Dec-Feb delivery window ends.
Maybe I could be in the 20,000s of total cars produced when I can expect to get mine.

13 different non CA states reported getting invites yesterday(not all east coast). No North Carolina though.
My service center told me yesterday that they have only delivered employee model 3’s here in Charlotte. Also said they don’t have any waiting to be delivered and haven’t been told there are any on the way.
I recall others saying that their local service center was up to 10 and 5 non-employee deliveries in the northeast, which lends credence to Tesla optimizing delivery by hitting large customer centers in batches.
Makes sense to do it that way.

Stood in line on 3/31 and was #43 at the Tesla Decatur, GA store (Atlanta area). At the time I was a non-owner, but I purchased a used P85 in Nov 2016. So I assume I was bumped up in the queue. Just received the configuration invite email yesterday.
