Just called for a status update. He asked me to check to see for edit button. I didn’t have one, so that’s a sign that things are moving along.

Then he checked to see if I had a DA, which I didn’t. He said things should be moving faster now...

We shall see.

I wonder how many days before delivery should our cars arrive at the store. Did they happen to tell you where your vehicle was at that time?

I heard everything from last Wed., to Mon. to today. Delivery specialist was very nice. One of the things she said was "yeah, our drivers have to sleep too." LOL

I just wish the logistics was very tight where they know exactly where your car is. It makes it difficult when you are scheduling other things like paint protection.

I was scheduled for Tysons, VA for Wed. 8/8 at 11 AM. I called and they changed it to Fri. 8/17. My car is not there yet. non-perf, AWD, Silver, Aero.
This kind of freaks me out. I'm scheduled to take delivery 8/21 at Tyson's... If mine is delayed more than a week I'll have to reapply for financing.

I was at a bar next door to it the other night, and they had two delivery trucks dropping cars off around midnight. I'm sure.that they're working around the clock to receive and deliver, but a little more assurance and confidence in the timeline would be appreciated. It's hard to plan without it.

Just to toss in another data point:
Just took delivery today (8/11), AWD Non-Pref, VIN 54k at Rockville, MD. Ordered 5/23, early first day line waiter, etc. etc. Can't say it was the smoothest delivery experience, but the car is great!

Peter

So, what made it not so smooth?

I'm also AWD non-P with vin in 54k's. Taking delivery in Tyson's.

Ordered 5/23, early first day line waiter, etc. etc.

Seems like most first day line waiters had their AWD option enabled/available to them around 5/23, right? Which would make it roughly 2.5 months from order to delivery. I'm a December 2016 reservation holder, current owner and ordered AWD on 6/27.

You think it's fair to guestimate for me a mid September delivery? Or too many other factors in play?

I can't figure out any rhyme or reason of their deliveries. Love the license plate btw
