Easy Entry and Homelink Issue

Ever since we have gotten the Easy Entry update, I notice that Homelink will not work consistently if I try to activate it before the Easy Entry sequence is complete. If I wait until the Easy Entry sequence is done I can successfully open my garage door, but sometimes Easy Entry will interfere with the closing of my door when I enter. I need to close the garage door before I unbuckle in order for Homelink to work. I have reported this to my local Tesla Service Center, but the problem hasn't been resolved. I wonder if anyone else is experiencing this.
