Easy wheel changes on the Model 3!

Super-pleased yesterday to find that you can lift the whole side of the car just by jacking at the rear (on my RWD, not sure if AWD would be different). The ranger told me this but I hadn't had chance to try. Apparently the rigidity of the car makes this possible. It makes seasonal wheel changes even quicker only having jack twice instead of four times.

Another TM3 bonus feature!

Where's the jack point in the rear?

Jack point illustration in the online manual.

I hear flexing when I exit out of my driveway at an angle. The glass roof gives me pause when I hear about stuff like jacking up the car from just the rear jack point.

Agree. I have 2 floor jacks and use both to lift one side at a time. Used them yesterday to change over my daughters winters to summer on her Fusion. With the Tesla I will rotate tires front to back this way, snug the rears and then jack the rear from both rear sides to to cross the rears left to right.
