    Why do you think Elon is keen on Mars. It's obvious that between the conservatives and emerging nations that there will be an ecosystem crash at some point in the not-too-distant future.

    If the Great Recession was bad, and the Great Depression was bad, imagine the economic and social outcome of irreversible damage and/or depletion of our natural resources.

    That's why in my opinion an International Committee dealing with environmenal problems should be established as I also said in the thread on Global Warming. According to me this kind of problems can be better handled and solved at Global Level.
