Electric closure driver door

When I leave the car I pull the internal door handle to have the car closing the door. However, often you need to “jump” out quick not to get your face hit by the window.
I noticed the speed of closing, when sitting in car, or closing via middle console is always the same.
Would it be an idea to have a slower closure when the car noticed you are not sitting in your seat?

How are the people closing the door on this forum?

Most of the time, I just walk away away and let the door close itself. Pulling on the interior door handle is also not a problem for me - I have long arms, I guess. Occasionally, I will manually close the door but let it self close/soft close on it’s own.

I don't have butler mode, so I just soft close the door manually, the latch grabs it from there and pulls it in tight.
