Electric Riding Zero Turn Mowers

I will be purchasing an eGo 42" this summer. I have an eGo chainsaw and trimmer, and want to stay in the same battery family.

Okay, who has one or plans to get one, before mowing season kicks off? Which one do you have/plan to get? Why did you pick the one you did? What else would you like to share about it?

I just took delivery of an Ego Z6 HP-22HP zero turn mower (56v) today. This one is like a Tesla lawn mower, complete with UI, HPWC, “Sport” and “Comfort” mode/steering - and a speed demon at 8mph! Love the hot swappable packs that can also be used in all Ego power tools.

@Cal1 Yes, all Lowes stores in the Seattle area have 4-5 in stock. No wait at all.

I might be buying a house on a slope with a pretty big lawn soon, and today I was thinking about this exact thing. I hope this thread gets some comments.

Slope and zero turn do not mix well FYI.

No, unfortunately the batteries have to be in the chassis for charging.

There is a charge port on the side of the mower, looks sort of like a smaller Tesla charger.

The EGO batteries pop out and can be used in other Ego tools. Not so with Club Cadet.

I just got a 52" Ego. So far looks great. Only problem is the app isn't connecting with the mower but that appears to happening for everyone. When it works, the app can work as a key for the mower without the physical key.

52” Ego? Nice! Congrats on the purchase. I didn’t know there was a connected app too. Really cool!

Interesting about the joystick. I wonder how easy it will be to use as compared to the standard zero turn handles. Seems like it would be nice to drive one handed.
