    EV Consumer Research Event

A major automobile manufacturer is in the process of developing a full electric vehicle for mass production. To support this effort, we are conducting moderated focus group discussions in California where we will be talking to owners of hybrid and electric vehicles to learn more about their purchase decisions and get their views on automotive design and technology. They will be taking this consumer input and integrating it into their product plans for this future vehicle.

The three events are being held in the following cities. Each event will last from 6:30PM to 8:30PM.

    February 28 - Irvine, CA
February 29 - Beverly Hills, CA
    March 1 - Sunnyvale, CA

All Respondents who qualify to participate will be given an incentive of $300 for their insight.

If you are interested in particpating, please respond with your preferred location and contact number and one of our research associates will be in touch.

    Thank you!

You know there are tons of EV owners outside of CA too :) I see focus group studies in CA (esp. SoCal) once a month - but nothing outside. I think OEMs are missing significant customer intel because of this ...

Other Tesla Roadster owners have said that they have done this. But the incentive was much bigger :)

Given that they are asking for a contact phone #, I suspect that sending then a "PM" (Private Message) would be preferable over posting individual responses here.

Perhaps Morpace should offer an email address for those interested in participating to use?

Maybe this company thinks only California people drive Electric Cars? I bet they can find a few Electric Car owners in Ontario, British Columbia, and Quebec, Canada as well, that will give them some hard facts on EV's they might not get in California!

A major automobile manufacturer is in the process of developing a full electric vehicle for mass production. To support this effort, we are conducting small, moderated discussion group sessions in San Francisco, CA. on July 23rd, 2012. Respondents who qualify to participate will be given an incentive of $300 for 90 minutes of their time. There will be multiple events throughout the day in an effort to accommodate various schedules.

For this next stage of the research, our client would like to focus on owners of the Tesla Roadster and the Model S to learn more about their vehicle purchase decisions and the motivators in their life. They will be taking this consumer input and integrating it into their product plans for a future vehicle.

Please reply to this post if you are interested in participating or if you have any questions.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Is there conferencing for long-distance attendees or do you have to be physically present?

Generally you have to be physically present for something like that. They keep you in a room for a couple of hours and ask you a LOT of questions. Typically being filmed while doing it.

(Morpace, do you need any LEAF owners too?)
