Electrical Wiring in the Model Y

In the lead up to the release of the model Y, there were rumors and even patent filings of a major change in how Tesla does wiring in their cars. Supposedly, there was going to be a major reduction in the amount and length of wiring.

Now that we have Model Y in the field, any real info on the changes?

There was also talk about the Model Y doing away with the 12V battery, but that did not come to fruition. We probably won't know about any Model Y wiring changes until either Tesla issues a statement or someone tears one apart.
