Electrician in Melbourne

Hi Guys,

Loving this forum - so much great info. Been absorbing all the goodness for a while but need some advice.

Have a Model 3 LR on order and looking to get a Single-phase 32amp wall socket installed at home. Have been quoted $850 for what seems to be a simple install as there is already a 40a sub board in the garage next to the target location. Regen EV in QLD have an offer for $450 on TOCA for the same install. Anyone been able to get close to this price in Melb? Any electricians you could recommend?

Thanks.

Not quite.

The same install - single-phase 32A wall socket is $495+GST, $544.50
The $450 you quoted is for HPWC single phase install, and is actually $495 to the end-customer.
Good luck to any lucky Queensland TOCA members who have actually got Arran to honour that.

Typical install prices that I've seen start around $7-800 and go up from there.
Tradies are busy and around Melbourne - it's a big town, they don't hesitate factoring in travel time.

BTW - welcome to the forum and congrats on the M3LR.
