The San Dimas City Council passed a zoning ordinance change which would allow the building department to review applications for charging stations themselves as long as they met the criteria in the ordinance. Final approval of the ordinance will be next week, and it will go into effect 30 days thereafter. Hopefully Tesla will be ready to submit their plans around July 11th.

Target has a temporary fence up to the south of the store. It may just be for remodeling as many of the targets in the area are getting re-modeled. Will keep an eye on it.

Went by yesterday to check out the temporary fence. It was open and nobody was in there so I went in to poke around. No equipment or anything back there yet, just a temporary office bungalow. Seems like kind of a large area sectioned of to be a supercharger so it might just be unrelated target construction but I’ll keep an eye on it because I don’t live far. Would be nice to get a supercharger in the area eventually. West Covina was negotiating with Tesla about super chargers at one point but that must have fell through because that was a while back.

It’s looking pretty encouraging that this is Indeed going to be a supercharger station at Target in San Dimas (Southside of parking lot). Attached are some pictures I took Aug-1-2020

I think it’s very interesting they have the parkway fenced off in addition to the parking lot. This pairs well for supercharger trenching you take place on the hillside. There’s also a boom lift now there so I’m not sure what’s planned. Thanks for the pics!

Today’s picture was taken on Aug-5-20. It’s hard to see in this picture, however theirs a 4’ deep trench along the curb of this parking lot with a lot of plastic tubing In it (no doubt for electrical wiring), I can’t conceive of anything else but a supercharger station being constructed here.
