Can't see if it's true, because I won't pay for access to the SAE document, but people keep saying that CCS doesn't allow for adapters.

Why listen to rumors when we have the news:

Tesla to open up CCS fast charging for European Model 3, Model S and Model X

EU Tesla Model 3 comes with CCS built-in.

Model S and X has an option to pay more than $500 to get a CCS adapter.

EU superchargers will be retrofitted with dual connectors per charging post to accommodate both traditional Model S and X connection as well as new Model 3 CCS connection.

Does anyone know how the Tesla Model S Plaid would be compared to the Lucid Air. I have never really considered any other EV outside of Tesla until Lucid Air. The Lucid Air is essentially offering Model S performance specs at a price of $60K. I know i wont be getting the supercharging network, but i can live with this. The unknown is the Plaid S specs, pricing, and availability.

I am bullish of new EV companies, but majority of the staff and engineers are former Tesla employees.
