Elon Bear across Europe (and beyond)

As I recall from @Xfrank in Belgium “ELONBEAR” would be OK. Did you see him on VTM Channel? He is almost as big a Tesla fanboy as you!

Hurray! After almost 10 months hibernation I was finally allowed to go on a trip again!
I packed my passport and my proof of vaccination (yes bears can get Covid as well) and my facemask, I was told I needed it where we were going!

Luckily I did not have to walk all the way this trip, my host conveniently carried me in a Tesla backpack this weekend !

Woot! I got a frontseat in a Tesla Model 3..... I still had no idea where we were going....but I hoped it would be something special!

After a very very long drive we arrived in a hotel. It turned out there were all real Tesla fans there, they organized themselves in Tesla Ownersclubs.....
I was quite popular with the lady Tesla fans I have to say....
And even my namesake was there! We asked if we could take a picture with him.
He did not respond but just stood there silently so we took a picture anyway.

Wow....the next day it became clear where we were and why: we were going to visit the Tesla Gigafactory in Berlin!
I have been already to several factories but not yet this new one.
Inside were all sorts of robots, big ones, small ones, yellow ones and red ones......
The total trip through the factory was 2km long and it took us 2.5 hours.
I had to take a break for a moment!

Inside the factory there was a big stamping machine that produced all the panels of the Model Y.
They showed us how these parts were placed on the car.
Some visitors made some nasty remarks about the panel gaps they saw....I had to explain them again this was within specs!

There was so much to see and so much to learn..... I had to take a break here.
Behind me this big robot was lifting complete cars upto the second floor!

Later they showed how the rest of the car was finished.
Did you know you can play games on that screen in the car!?

We were not the only one visiting the Gigafactory....there were about 3000 people and they all left their pawprint on a freshly painted wall.
People have some strange habits sometimes.

They also showed where the cars will be painted. There is a rumour there will be two new colors....
I inspected the paintwork on the inside and it looked very good to me.

Finally after two and a half hours we were outside again.
Time for some food and drinks and to have a look at the Gigafactory from high in the sky!

What an adventure, and Sooooo happy to see you survived the Covid pandemic.

I was told bears where at risk; in Belgium there where lots of bears put outside of the houses. So rude.
