Canadian prices is $7900 (upgrade after delivery) and $5300 (after delivery) respectively.
Just a minor correction: those prices are reversed.
"Enhanced Autopilot" is the US$5k option, with the "Full self-driving" add-on being an additional US$3k.
And I'm assuming it's become very clear that this is NOT the M3 reveal part 2. Lots of people seemed to have mis-interpreted Elon's tweet where he stated this product "alludes" to M3P2, and then just run with that interpretation as hard fact.
I'm assuming reveal part 2 will have much more fanfare, much more pre-announcement, and much more clarity in the intention.
I believe it's the other way around. Enhanced autopilot now 5k. Full self driving another 3k.
Yawn !!! Yawn !!! What a profound disappointment, now lets watch the stock tumble some more.
Why did that announcement need to be delayed?
My GL has them mounted on the underside of the side mirrors and near the rear liftgate latch. Hopefully a surround view type feature is standard. It's one of the best features I have, it's amazing how superior it is to a rear camera only view in most situations.
I imagine the bump from 4 to 8 for self driving is for stereo vision in each direction.
Elon tweeted that the reason was they were working on the video of the Tesla navigating a "complex urban environment" with the sensors. Video forthcoming.
From the Model X configurator:
“For Superchargers that have automatic charge connection enabled, you will not even need to plug in your vehicle.”
In the future people will keep rear-wheel non AP P85 cars for the same reason people keep horses nowadays; stricly sentimental reasons.

Link now works. It shows the camera positions.
*Ding, ding, ding* We have a winner!
Hmmm... Tesla Vision has no mention of pothole avoidance capability.
Elon's crying wolf again.
Like someone else asked ... why the delay?
Perhaps, if he'd announced that Classic could upgrade for $3k but this announcement was yet another non-announcement.
He tweeted that the delay was due to shooting a video of the new system in action. Though that video isn't up yet.
THE ROBOT SNAKE!!!!!
I just wish that AP will be less expensive on M3. I really don't care about Self driving. Autosteer and TACC on my MS is fine and it's what I would like to have. Even only a TACC option for me would be nice on a 35k$ car. I sure hope you won't have to add the 8$K more (or 11k$ Canadian) on a 35$K M3. We will see.
I like being able to do both and choose between them. It's nice listening to Eric Clapton play. He's much better at it than I am. All I can do is make sounds come out of my guitar that are not entirely unpleasant. Some day though, I'll be able to play The Blues even better than I sing them.
Everybody complained when the Autopilot price increased to $3000 from $2500, and now it's $5000 right off the bat?
