    As long as the challenge by Planetspace is thrown out, he stands to bring in $1.6bn to SpaceX from the NASA ISS contract alone. That has to be pretty profitable...

    Luckily SpaceX and Solar City are in good shape financially. Otherwise I would be really worried about Elon's pockets not being deep enough.

    But as things go, it looks like Tesla Motors only needs to raise another $50 million to get through 2009. That should be feasible.

    Are you referring to the options?
    Has you already decided to request a refund and not pay for the options or Roadster?
