Best part was him claiming to be "shattered" by Sarah Palin's remarks but that he's "recovering" - agreed. Good interview, bad audio - but, the more he's on CNBC, the better. He's been on Bloomberg quite a bit, but, think CNBC has a wider audience and more mainstream appeal.
…or make sure you have some sort of back-up running simultaneously when the interview starts. Then if one line fails, as happened here, hopefully the other will still work. As I understand it, that’s standard procedure at the Swedish Public Service Radio, and it has saved them on at least one occasion. …and if you have to switch to the back-up alternative, then you can of course try and get the line that failed back up again just in case… Especially if you can have someone assist you if you’ll need it during the interview… But I’m sure they’ve already thought of this for next time.
I had similar thoughts as well. It's too bad the audio (from Elon) was mostly unintelligible, though. I would love to see Elon do another interview sometime either physically in a news studio or with a decent phone connection.
