Elon Musk seems to enjoy adding some quirk to his company stores. Last year, he raised more than $10 million selling Boring Company branded hats and flamethrowers.
Now, he may be selling tequila branded with the the Tesla logo dubbed “Teslaquila.”
Musk’s first reference to Teslaquila was last week during a series of April 1 prank tweets saying the carmaker was going bankrupt. “Elon was found passed out against a Tesla Model 3, surrounded by ‘Teslaquilla’ bottles, the tracks of dried tears still visible on his cheeks,” the tweet said.
Many of his followers suggested he actually bring the tequila to market. He replied saying it will be “coming soon to Tesla merch” and the company will offer free shot in stores every April 1.
Today, Musk posted a photo to Instagram of a Tesla-branded bottle of 100% agave hooch.
