Just announced on Twitter: Twitter
I have a Reddit account but pretty much never use it, I might bust it out for this though.

This thread is for thinking up good Model 3 questions to ask and possibly recruiting senior Redditors to ask them ;)

To get things started:
I'd like to know how the width of the Model 3 compares to that of the Model S.

With our powers combined I bet we can get a few questioned answered:)

Edit: Hopefully it's not a SpaceX only AMA...

In which case...

"Thank you for your time. Traditional thinking divides aerospace and automotive into two distinct disciplines. Can you share a recent example of where you see benefits from viewing them as a continuum?"

He may choose to talk about various Falcons, but we may get lucky.

Well, gosh, you want SpaceX questions now?

What can you tell us about the relationship between Ironhead Studios and SpaceX in the development of space suits? What's the status of the internet satellite effort? When will we see more Dragon 2 test flights? Have you identified any areas of the Falcon 9 rocket that need more work to support rapid reusability from analysis of the recently landed Falcon 9 rockets? Has a determination been made as to whether it is feasible and/or worthwhile to work on making the 2nd stage reusable? What happened to the cross feed idea for the Falcon Heavy?

Elon has talked on the subject of electric rockets previously and that they won't happen probably ever due to ... physics

Besides the refined kerosene, much of the fuel is liquid oxygen which isn't technically a fossil fuel.

Don't forget about Mars!

What will Red Dragons be bringing? Does he think it might be feasible to re-launch Red Dragons back into orbit given Mars' low gravity (thereby not "losing" the unit to the surface until we can get there to retrieve it)? Or make models with more boost? What about the feasibility of establishing an orbiting station around Mars to send and retrieve Red Dragons for additional research? How resupply?

Plz ask him if the Model 3 "P" trim will feature more powerful rear motor option -- either a more powerful version of the standard rear motor, or the one of the larger rear motors as used in the Model S 70 (RWD) or P90D.
