I'm not going to debate if you were properly informed or misinformed.

But speaking from my experience.. I scheduled mine for service due to uneven paint work. Long story short, after dropping it off at 700 plus miles on the odometer with over one month of ownership, Tesla replaced and repainted all door panels. It took more than two weeks with two series of paint correction by Tesla service, one visit with a Tesla approved third party auto paint shop as a final touch to make certain its perfect.. Now that she's back with me, I couldn't possibly be more happier with the paint results.

Point being.. Tesla Service recognized and made every attempt to make it right for me. Communication through out was excellent. I can not complain.

If you happen to be one of the unfortunate few upon delivery, take a chill pill and relax! Work with your service advisor, be cordial and it will work out in your favor.

I swear, the amount of anxiety on this forum over such issue makes me laugh.

I get it, 60k car should not have these issues. But you knew that already setting your heart on a Tesla and most of these issues can be fixed..............and life goes on.

i am relaxed, but everyone on here says it’s 100 miles.... You own a model y? The paint issues aren’t that big a deal to me, but i think holding tesla accountable is good for Tesla.

This starts with Management There should be check in specialists at delivery centers. Comes off the truck then car is inspected. If there are the same defects over and over then they need better QC at the factory. If a lot of people are pointing out the same defects all the time then it has to be addressed. The QC issue is costing Tesla a lot of money It seems that Tesla's policy of shoving it out the door and fix it later needs to be changed. If the employees don't care then they need to go. Musk needs a few no BS QA specialists and he actually needs to listen to them

I can attest to the quality issues. I took delivery on January 31st, vin 108,0XX and I've had a number of issues. Most notably, a missing penthouse perimeter seal that caused a high pitch sound while driving at any speed MY Loud Whine . And now, a vibration issue while driving that makes the whole car shake. Super disappointed with this car; especially since my M3 was practically perfect.
