Wish I could go... but 1) Its $7.5k to go, 2) you need to write an essay to impress them in order to get selected, and 3) entry is now closed.
I go to TEDx here in Spain lots, but its no surprise the real TED is rather popular

It can be a few days to a few months to even longer than that. Depends on how important the TED folks feel that the talk is relative to the others.

If you have not paid your $7500 over a year ago, then please don't come down...it is by application only and there is a 4000 person waiting list. Unless you are already signed up, just wait for the talk online. Cheers!

You can watch it online, but it may be days, weeks or months, depending upon what the TED folks choose to show from this year's event. They choose the order based upon the quality (their opinion) of the talks. If Elon has a very meaningful talk, it could be very fast. Cheers!
