More Elon reality distortion field at work... his credibility is completely shot and the stock will take a hit.

This was on local news and it took them awhile for them to post this on their web site.

"Members of the new cryptocurrency “Stopelon” said that Tesla CEO Elon Musk has far too much power over the cryptocurrency market."

Companies change product features and models all the time. The number of people who reserved a plaid+ is really tiny.

Some insight into why some more thoughtful left wingers dislike much of what Elon does. Their thinking is a little limited in scope to say the least but at least not illogical hate.
I lean left. But until a left winger that has a problem with Elon, does a better job than him in total with what he is accomplishing, I’m not going to 💩 on Elon.

Elon Musk is a genius in some areas, but he's also a human being with some pretty big flaws. He's doing a lot of good in the world, but his reputation would be better off if he just stayed off Twitter and kept his mouth shut.

Much of the world used to be able to appreciate shades of gray. A person could be excellent in one area, but it was acceptable if they also had some weaknesses. The world has become much less tolerant of gray. People are either on a pedestal or they are the world human who has ever lived and they can flip from one to the other on a dime like a borderline does (Borderline Personality Disorder). Statistically it's probably certain that some of the Twitterati who do these day to day flips back and forth are BPD. Though most are probably just products of their generation which was raised on zero tolerance policies.

Reactions: Catbiscuits

Tesla CEO Elon Musk took the witness stand Monday to defend his company's 2016 acquisition of a troubled company called SolarCity against a shareholder lawsuit that claims Musk was to blame for a deal that was rife with conflicts of interest and failed to produce the profits he had promised.

In a sometimes testy exchange with a plaintiffs' attorney, Musk denied any conflict of interest, saying he had nothing to gain from the all-stock acquisition because he owned shares of both companies.

"Some of your questions," he told the opposing attorney, "are really tricky and deceptive."

If you can't attack the argument / answer the question, turning to attack the questioner (lawyer in this case) is not a good look.

There is a (now ex) partner at Cravath, the firm representing Elon, who is literally a convicted pedo guy serving time in prison right now. Something, something glass houses?

The laywer was specifically playing parts of the disposition where Elon and he were at odds. Elon addressed that topic, 'the question' as it were.

Elon flew from Boca to SpaceX HQ last night. He will no doubt visit Fremont in a few days. Timing suggests he will be back in Boca to take the ER call. This is unfortunate because he comes across better when he is in the same room as Zach etc. Zach is moving to Austin but presumably hasn't yet?
