I could definitely see that capacitive swiping function right on the CT's B pillar enabled by phone key. I'm down for that out here in SF but in cold weather climates, I could see how that could be less than ideal in the icy/winter months.

FYI there are no door handles on the Ford Mach-E's doors. There's a door popper button, then you just grab the back of the door panel (which is coated in rubber) and pull it open. This is a good idea. Less stuff.

One reason I went with a Model 3 vs a Model S is for the less complicated door handles. Less complicated = less that can break, IMO. Cybertruck with no handles, even better.

After replacing all 4 handles on the S already, I'm definitely in the "no handles" camp for the CT . I don't own an X, so I can't speak to the usefulness or annoyance of the auto presenting doors that they have. Hopefully, Tesla will consider their options carefully and go from there.....
