    To the question "Any chance that someone who camped out overnight to reserve Model 3 will get an AWD Model 3 by Dec 31st this year?"

    Elon replied "Pretty Good".

    1. Elon's Time. ;)

    2. Probably you will be able to configure and order your AWD by then.
    But car's delivery might be a little late*.

    * see #1 :p

    It was noted in the Elon Tweets thread that it was still April 1st in California... sigh....

    I think this one was real, it wasn't the obvious BS of the Alien Language tweets of earlier... but you never know!

    Talk about a misleading thread title.

    How do you figure? AWD cars were stated by Elon to be available 6-9 months after some date (either his tweet or after start of production). We're assuming now that date is 12/31/17 (this year) (from his lated tweet on the subject) which is 9 months (and one week lol) after his tweet about 6-9 months.

    Closely read the title of this thread.

    Look at a calendar.

    Ponder.

    Repeat as necessary.

    As I'd mentioned in the "Info and Hints from Elon Tweets" thread, Tesla can use the alien time-traveling transporter to go back in time. In this case, to 12/31/2016 and deliver the first AWD Model 3s. :)

    The thread title is quite accurate.

    In Elon time 31st Dec 2016 translates to sometime in 2018.

    According to Elon, everything will always be available "in a few weeks or so, give or take a couple of [insert variable timespan here]. At least I feel confident this time..."
    ;)
