In case anyone missed this someone asked Elon yesterday about 135 kw superchargers coming to US and he said to look for it next year.
Yes, 120 kW is active, I charged recently in Texas at 117 kW. Felt the hair standing up on my head! Running 5.6.

I wonder if the 135kW charger is in anticipation of a bigger battery? Obviously with a bigger battery there has to be a higher charge rate to keep the overall time reasonable.
Wow fantastic! Also curious to know what would the mph charge rate be on 135kWh? How many miles could you get in say, 30 minutes on a near empty battery?
Well if kW can scale linearly into charging rate I would imagine 135 / 90 * 294 = 441 mph Quite a guesstimate though...
