ELON! Where is my rear wiper blade?

My MDX has one.
My Subaru had one.
Our Preius has one.

Even the econ-box Honda Fit has a rear window wiper blade, but not the M3! Really?

So I got our M3 a present today I can keep under the driver's seat:

Sedans don't need a rear wiper due to the aerodynamics while driving. You only need a rear wiper if the rear glass is really flat (Prius) or really upright (most SUVs and Hatchbacks).

Is your Subaru a sedan? As others have mentioned, sedans don't usually have rear wipers.

However it really could use a rear camera cleaner, as muddy water/dirty snow will mist and swirl in on that. In fact I'm not sure how they're going to do FSD without proper sensor clearing gear back there?

They're actually poor for aerodynamics, too. That being said, I really pine for one. My cars (Prius & Leaf) the last 12 years have had one, and I hate not having it. It's terrible to not have one in the winter, no matter what the slope of the glass is.

I'd prefer a wiper/eye-lid for the rear-view camera.

I've been in the habit of using the camera for the rear-view as the rear-view mirror has a really limited view.

Our Volt doesn't have a rear wiper. A bit annoying, but the rear windshield heater keeps it clear.
