emergency brake assist not available

Driving through London tonight and the auto high-beam started what can only be described as "strobing". Switched it off but 10 mins later had autosteer not available, cruise control not available and emergency braking systems not available. This persisted through power down but a two-button reset cleared it until the headlight started "strobing" between high and low again where switching auto high beam off gave the same errors again.
Anyone else have anything like this?
2020 model 3 software v2022.40.4.1

Doesn't sound safe to drive, call Tesla roadside.

I know from experience that if the car computer (not the media unit) shuts down that AHB doesn't work and you have to control lights manually, but it would seem unlikely that would make something strobe. Maybe a fault on the canbus but it certainly sounds odd.

"core command is aware of the problem" a firmware bug affects a number of cars, await new download.
Always supported Tesla but a software update that disables safety-critical parts is just unacceptable.
