So when driving my previous ICE vehicle, I always knew how to emergency brake the car should the main brakes fail:
- shift to lowest gear for engine braking
- gradually apply the hand brake
- finally, shift to park when the vehicle is close to 0.
On a Tesla, are there any options for emergency braking that I could use should the brake pedal fail, or should the accelerator go into a electromechanical failure where it gets floored?
