eMMC console replacement

Hi,

I was told ALL my profiles were lost after picking up my Model S today.
Is it normal to lose all profiles after replacing the eMMC in a Model S?

Thanks. I thought Tesla is advanced enough to make backups of existing data and restore when a new eMMC is replaced without losing all the data.

I have not had my eMMC replaced yet (next week), but Tesla wiped my current eMMC. Here is a caution that they did not give me: ALL OF YOUR MEMORIZED SUSPENSION HEIGHT LOCATIONS ARE ERASED. I pulled into a place where six years ago I had set the suspension height to clear a parking bumper. So, when I pulled out, it pulled the front facial loose! Do something to not forget that change.
