Enabling Autopilot with your left hand

Is there a way to enable Autopilot with your left hand? It’s so much easier to lean against the arm rest and move my left hand to engage autopilot.

Only by reaching across to the right of the steering wheel and using the same gear shift stick... sounds dangerous and you shouldn’t do it

/couldn’t resist, sorry. No way to do this on left side of wheel.

How could it be easier to use your left? In the US (LHD), you should steer with your left hand, and shift with your right. Your right hand, on the center armrest, is free to engage AP and play with the center screen.

Your hands are supposed to be at 9 and 3.... When you're driving straight and not much going on which of your hands would you most likely take off the steering wheel? Right hand... It's easy to engage/disengage AP and adjust the volume on my Model S.
