It's telling you that it is limiting your power or regen because of battery conditions, which can be too warm, too full to take regen well, too cold, too low of a charge, any number of things. It's just telling you to not push it, or in the case of regen, that you don't have full regen and to be aware; you may need to use brakes more. Tesla takes care of the battery.

Im still not sure thats what that means. I know the dotted lines mean this but not the exclamation point. I do not get this in cold weather specifically. I get this after hard accelleration or when switching the "performance" to a lesser model.

Yes, I agree. It appears to be related to reduced regen but the correlation is not 1:1.

That's one possibility, but you are saying it like it's authoritative. What is your source.
