Hi Friends,

Please see the attached screen shots. The Usage and Grid numbers in the ENERGY USAGE screen are ridiculously out of whack! I only have Solar, no Powerwall. And our PowerBlaster was installed after our initial install and Tesla is apparently no longer doing PowerBlasters anymore.

Can any of you guys confirm if any one of you have seen this issue? And if so, any idea how to fix it?

I have a ticket to Tesla, but doubt they'd fix it... Appreciate y'all's help!

no I have not, but it amazes me how many people on this forum have reported install issues with Powerblasters and CTs. In my case, the CTs were installed wrong.

What were the symptoms of your issue? And since the CT fixes...is the data somewhat accurate? Do you Powerwalls?

Yes, I have PWs. When the CTs were wrong, the data was just very erratic, but it was never reported anything off by an order of magnitude. It was reporting negative when it should be positive, etc.

Why wouldn't Tesla come out to fix it if they just installed it?

Interesting... I watched my install like an annoying person and mentioned to the installer the CTs getting installed incorrectly. To his credit he checked several times unless his friends gave him the wrong information as he made a few calls to confirm his install... Hope they respond and correct...

Wondering if others saw this issue...?

That’s bizarre. I’m with @getakey, why would you think they wouldn’t address it?
Good question. I guess it's the cynic in me... Between my car and now Solar, it's not impossible that Tesla changes policies and what they said they'd do, at any given time. If they're officially stopping PowerBlaster install, they can easily say that this is an unsupported feature and close the loop.

They also did something similar with their sales staff saying that they will install the system with micro inverters and we can pay via Credit Card. But when we got assigned our PM... He straight up refused this.

That's where that feeling of nervousness comes from... :)...

I was just posting here to see people have seen this issue and if they knew the fix... Thanks.
