Man when I saw it was released in New Zealand the other day the cost worked out to $3,500 USD which would have been a definite buy. At $6,000 i'll have to mull it over. Wish there was $100/month subscribe option to see if it's worth it.

Absolutely! While it's half the price of FSD in Canada, that's still $6400. I won't buy without trying.

Was EAP even an option when they switched to Vision Only? I think anyone who meets this criteria just upgraded today.

No, it was a short-term option at the end of the year in 2020, I think. Radar didn't disappear until sometime in May of 2021.

The reality is FSD is nowhere close to being fully baked. We're many, many years away from fully autonomous driving and anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional or paid for FSD and is trying to justify giving Tesla a free loan.

I had the 199 subscription for 3 months. It tried to kill me 4 times.. and tried to kill a bicyclist once.. Not ready is a gross understatement. I keep hearing that the beta is "better" but I'm not qualified for a beta with a 90.. it doesn't like LA traffic.. doesn't like regen braking ( too aggressive) etc..etc..etc.. I'm not paying 6K for a fancy lane changer.. summon is party trick..
