Enhanced Security installed, but can't turn off??

I had Tesla Service Center install the Enhanced Security system on my Model X today. Now when I go into "Security" in the menus, I can see sliders for "Security Alarm" and "Tile / Intrusion". I know I need to turn off Tilt / Intrusion if I use Dog Mode or Cabin Overheat Protection.

Problem is, both sliders are greyed out and not accessible, so I can't turn these settings off. I've tried in Park as well as Drive.

Anyone else have this issue?

Looks like to access the new sliders I need to turn off Sentry mode. But there are times when I want Sentry Mode on, but Security Alarm and Tilt / Intrusion off. Is this possible?

which model year is your MX and what exactly did Tesla install in your car which is not there in the newer cars?

I got it for my 2016 Model S (pre Sentry), but it didn't play nice with Cabin Overheat and other stuff, so I had them take it out. To Tesla's credit, they refunded me the cost.

Yeah - I may do the same. My Model X is a 2018.

It just seems stupidly overcomplicated.

A solution in search of a probllem? It was more important before Sentry mode was available, which is likely when it was originally designed.
