Envia Systems announced earlier this week what they claim is a world record energy density for rechargeble batteries. They claim the 400 Wh/kg battery will slash the price of a "300 mile range ev" by lowering the price of the lithium batteries by more than 50 percent. Does anyone know whether Tesla is interested?
