Yep.... more than a bit of a stretch to call preventing cold air from settling to the ground 'climate change'.
Taking the ground temperatures measured by satellites, they detected a warming of 0.5°C at night in the region directly under the farm. This warming effect was local and small – the nighttime warming did not extend beyond the farm’s immediate neighbourhood.
That's not warming... that's less stratification.
the saga continues... ercot issues conservation warnings... and the wind isn't blowing 30-35 GW of wind is only producing 1.5 GW.... or 4 percent of installed capacity

EIA lists Texas as having 11.6GW of PV planned from 4/2021 through 2025, the large majority by the end of 2022.
1.1GW 4/2021 through 6/2021.
3.7GW total for 2021.
6.3GW for 2022.
Solar is still going to lag wind, but it will definitely take a sizable chunk of that daytime demand. Bound to have a significant impact on economics of other generation. The good news is that all its NG capacity can be spun up easily. Just need to keep the NG coming.

Yep. Texas needs a few more GW of gas turbines. And ~100x more wind and solar so they're almost never used then some demand response to reduce curtailment.... eventually some electrolyzer plants so those gas turbines can be run off H2 generated from all that wind and solar. How are you still confused by this? Where are you getting lost?

Looks like wind is saving Texans butts. For the ~900th time that's not what it's for but what's that old saying? Better to be lucky than smart or something along those lines? If you're getting 17GW from wind your operating reserves should definitely be >17GW.
