Estimated Delivery Date

Curious to know what folks' "Estimated Delivery Date" is listed as... I clicked the "Edit Design" link on the right hand side of the page in my Tesla Account, which opens up the configuration page again, then right-clicked and chose "View Page Source".

On mine, I'm seeing "estimatedDeliveryDate" listed as:

"startDate":"2018-06-15T00:00:00","endDate":"2018-06-15T00:00:00"

Maybe this is just a placeholder date?

Same question here. Anyone talked to the delivery specialist on when will be the estimated delivery date. We need calm down if it really means mid June. If thats the case, Canadian game rule is now totally different with US, which will deliver the car 2week at most after getting VIN.

Personally I'll be very happy if June 15th turns out to be my date, since I have been imaging it'd be more like sometime in July. ;)

I've already been in touch with my Delivery Advisor and she couldn't provide an estimated delivery date or even let me know what month I might expect delivery. Would be interested to know what estimated delivery date info is listed in everyone else's source code - June 15th for everyone in Canada or...?

It is obviously a placeholder.

Tesla didn't know how many cars they were going to make today, last week. They also do not know how many people are going to cancel or delay ahead of you.

That’s strange, even with people who got VIN ?

I received my VIN already and I don’t see an Edit Design link. Does this mean the car is already made so therefore, no chance to edit?

Hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think having a VIN necessarily means your car has already been made.

"Automakers register VINs in large batches that anticipate coming production, which means that numbers will be assigned before a new car starts its journey down the assembly line." - Bloomberg

Would be interesting to know if other Canucks who - like me - don't yet have an assigned VIN also have an Estimated Delivery Date of June 15th listed in the source code.

No, the car made in USA has to be shipped to Canada and passed customs. If not, it will not be shown at MTO system for insurance quote. I believe those who has the VIN their cars are already in Richmond Hill.

Since we are talking about Richmond Hill - I live in the area and wondering if anyone wants to do a group buy at RPM Tesla to get the 20% off purchase discount? I plan on ordering the Center console wrap and maybe puddle lights. If you’re interested, let me know and we can work out logistics.

Good call!... I was pricing up to get $150 but really only wanted 2 things:

Titanium Centre Console wrap and the Blue interior lights. (maybe the T puddle lights)

I ordered the brushed black metal center console wrap and am not happy with the cup holder piece. I am in the process of contacting Mark for options.

That sucks :(. I’ve heard people with both good and bad experiences with the vinyl. I’m going with the clear wet install since I want to maintain the piano black look. Just don’t want the fingerprints and scratches.
