EU deposit now 25000€ ???

Just tried to book a fully loaded P90DL and got this nice e-mail:

Model S requires an initial € 2.000,00 order deposit which you can pay online with your credit card. If you prefer, wire transfer instructions are included at the bottom of this email. A further € 23.000,00 is due shortly afterwards to complete your order deposit. After your deposit is paid, you will have two weeks to change your design or cancel your order for a full refund.

What the hell is that? For an S70D that's more than the downpayment most financing companies take (usually 10-20%).

Any clues as to what the hell is happening?
