EU finalize and deliveries

Partly paid and the rest is financed. No VIN yet, the status on the website was “payment pending” with the amount so that’s why I did the payment. Now the only remaining step is delivery.
I wanted to pay as early as possible because my EDD is still dec22 -feb23, but I won’t be there almost a full month after mid December, so hopefully as everything is ready on my side I will get a VIN and get the car before my vacations.

I would think so too- I was told by Tesla belgium that you can only process payment once the VIN is generated and that is the point where an invoice will be triggered for due payment.
Is there also a different process perhaps?

I called my SA, there will be many deliveries of Model S Plaid in France before the end of the year, probably between 15 and 30/12 (Internal meeting this morning).

He advises me to have the attribution of the VIN to make the transfer of the deposit, not useful to have this sum on their account (and more on mine)

hopefully these are older refresh 2022 models that are finally through EU testing & what arrives will be the latest 2023 models! Strange that though all these came through Zeebrugge, the Belgian SAs have no clue on what’s happening or what to expect for MS or MX!
