I had not seen any site-specific news here for while, so I went to the Tesla website, which now lists 14 stalls at this site! I am currently too far way to check the stall count on Nav, but I assume this means they've switched on the new superchargers. Anyone charged at a new one yet? @BlueShift notified.
Hopefully this means the Woodburn expansion will be happening soon! Shasta's new site appears to just be waiting for the new transformer at this point.

Awesome! I hope the new chargers will be faster. The older ones were showing their age and their performance has degraded over the last couple of years. We will check them out next weekend.

Actually this maybe a first. The new stalls are actually on the adjacent property, including the charger cabinets. In fact, you have to enter the Marriott parking lot to access them. You can not get to them from the Holiday Inn. So technically these are 2 different SC sites!

I go there pretty often and I get full power with a normal taper on the stalls I've used. In the summer I have seen slower rates related to heat but that is universal across the Supercharger system.

You can tell them your next stay in Springfield will be at the Hilton Garden Inn, they have a destination charger there.

Actually for a while they were doing a pretty good job of keeping them clear. They had white "EV Only" cones setup in the spaces and I've been there several nights when the lot was full and no ICEing. They may have gotten lax with the new section opening up.

In 5 or 6 stops at this location, I have never seen any ICEing. Most of those stops were in 2017.
