By who? Not trying to be confrontational, I'm just curious. And if it was a DS I'll discount the veracity of that info as I've found them to be just as prone to misinformation as the average ICE showroom floor specialist.

There are six S60s listed on the CPOC without SC. One of them has it per the CPO listing, and I let Hank know in the support thread. There have always been 5-10 S60s without SC.

It would be weird if they didn't upgrade it since it's just a software change, but I just haven't seen anything official.

I don't fully understand the vernacular of all the various Tesla salespersons, but it was salesperson at a store. Ever since meeting her and going on my first test drive with her, she seems to have been my main POC. When inquiring about other CPO vehicles, I was redirected back to her for assistance. This is the exact response taken from an email she sent me... "All the pre-owned vehicles come with supercharging included."

Just to clarify, EV-CPO picks up whatever Tesla initially publishes for the car. In this case, when the car first appeared, it did not have supercharging (option SC00). They've since updated their site to include supercharging (option SC01). EV-CPO does not yet go back and detect every change in option codes after the first time the car is published.

But I plan to change that because TM is also updating the mileage on cars while they're on the block. I should be able to get to that next week.

That would be a sweet feature. I have several listings bookmarked and it's obvious some of the CPO listings are out as loaners. They update the mileage several times a day.

Yeah, I was just trying to avoid hitting every car's webpage everyday to respect TM's bandwidth (although the amounts are tiny, I still don't want to abuse it). But that's the only way to keep the data fresh and accurate as TM corrects their own listings.

Also, thanks for the "CPO Prospector" link in your sig, but could you change the URL to: http://ev-cpo.com ? :) Thanks.

    OK.

So a couple caveats to what I'm about to relate. 1) it's a small sample size, 2) it's from what might be the smallest gallery Tesla has opened.

Down on West 25th Street, just west of the High Line, is the nearest store to me. Technically the Time Warner Center is a block or two closer, but that's a temporary popup and I've never actually seen a Tesla rep with the car whenever i have been up there. The tiny showroom in Chelsea never has more than 1 car inside (and possibly 1 on the street if it's a test drive day.) They have no charging facilities - apparently they had a falling out with the garage on the block. Anyway, I've visited the only permanent store Tesla will ever have in Manhattan several times. Twice for a test drive, and a couple other times when walking around with my kids visiting art galleries in the neighborhood. (Aside - by agreement, Tesla is capped to the five existing stores they now have open in NYS, so this is my only option.) I've dealt with three different DS people there, and every one of them has given me misinformation. To wit:

    • RFS can be installed as an aftermarket item. Not true, though there is an exception. Very early VIN builds had the extra bumper and reinforced trunk required for RFS whether it was part of the build or not. This practiced was discontinued in late 2012/early 2013.
    • CHAdeMO (we have one in my building garage) will be twice as fast with dual chargers. Not true, as with supercharging, it bypasses the on board charger.
    • Those two instances were with different reps (both very young.) A third DS at the W 25th St store - presumably older, though not by much, and perhaps more senior as his desk is further back - has also given me bad or incorrect info. I've forgotten the specifics now, I just remember making a point of speaking to him based on my disappointing interaction with the other two, and was dismayed to realize he was scarcely any more informed.

At the end of the day it doesn't matter. I've researched the car enough that they can't do any harm. Maybe it's a training issue? Maybe my experience would be different if I went to Manhasset, Syosset or Mt Kisco (none of which I can ride my bike to!) AIt hasn't changed my view of Tesla or the Model S. But I don't have any faith in anything a DS tells me.

By the same token though, we have had zero reports in this thread that people buying S60 CPOs received a vehicle without SpC. What we don't know is whether the listed said it had SpC or not. In other words, just because the option code didn't list SC01, doesn't mean it was delivered without SpC. My CPO car has features on it that are 100% not listed in the options code of the MyTesla PDF or are downright different from what was listed. Thus, knowing that the listings have been inaccurate for multiple vehicles, it simply could be that all CPO S60s would come with SpC regardless of what the option list has. Personally, I think they should update the options list, but we have seen cases were the differences don't get noticed until the car is delivered.

Good point, Cyclone - no anecdotal evidence they haven't upgraded all of them to be SC enabled. Still weird that 22% of the S60 listings indicate no SC.

In case anyone is wondering, I can confirm, it is smart. My just-purchased extension was automagically added to my future expiration date.

Hank, you have a major issue on your hands. Every single listing in CPO is showing up as added on 7/26/15... did you see this or is it an issue on my side somehow? Using Safari on OS X...

I'm aware of it, and I just fixed it. Had a glitch that updated every record.

Awesome, thanks. I just pulled the trigger on a CPO and thanks to your site, I was able to sift through the inventory and narrow it down to exactly what I was looking for. I think about 1000 hits on your website over the last month, might have been from me  Hopefully you moved your web application to Azure, so you can instantly scale to the amount of traffic that is coming  Thanks again for a great site and helping me find the perfect CPO.

You're welcome, and thanks for your comments!! For my 'real job', I run some pretty large websites, so I know how to scale without using 3rd party services or "the cloud".

HankLLoydRight, the architect of Tesla web-based tools, thanks for such a useful tool.

Question: Does the Date/Time added field reset if there is a price change? P43370, for example, has a Date/Time added of 2015-07-27 12:50 and is showing with a delta price. Can I infer that the price was just lowered or is this one of the vehicles that was removed from Tesla's CPO site and later re-listed.

I'll look into it, but I think the miles and/or options list may have been updated, causing the date to change.

It looks like it was originally listed on 6/17, sold/removed on 6/26, and then re-added back on 7/27. It could have been "hidden" (still for sale, but not listed) during that time.

The "Add Date" is only updated when that happens -- a car is removed, but relisted at a later date. Otherwise, it's the date the car first appears on Tesla's site and EV-CPO.

    - - - Updated - - -

BTW, EV-CPO is now updating the mileage and options list for all cars, so if Tesla updates their site, these things are now captured on EV-CPO.

The dates of prices changes are also now being recorded, and those dates/prices are now displayed on the "Options" popup page for Premium subscribers. The old list of previous prices (without dates) is still available on the Δ popup/tooltip for all users. (Obviously, all previous prices recorded have no date listed, but going forward, all price change dates will be recorded).

Thanks Hank! I like that the original previous price is maintained for these.

So when I refresh, even if new cars weren't listed, there may be price changes to look for...

That's always been the case, yes. You can also set up Alerts to notify you when any car goes below a certain price -- that's for any new car listed or price changes.

    Awesome site!

For someone that is looking at buying CPO, this is way better then their website. One question, which Im sure has been asked so sorry if Im repeating whats already been said, Anyway to get features filtered? I need smart air and UHF and would love to be able to sort by that.

I'm sure Hank will chime in if this still works or if there is a better way, but in version 1 of his consolidator, you could put in the special feature codes you wanted in the search box and get returned all cars that included those features. So you could do a search for air and UHF and any other features to filter the list.
