EV rate plan-- How does PG&E monitor ownership of EVs

I'm wondering how PG&E knows I still have an EV to qualify me for their EV rate plan. When I first bought my MS 2.5 yrs ago I submitted my bill of sale and registration card to them and got their EV rate plan, but since then they've never required anything from me. How would they know if I sold it?

Short answer is that they don't know. In the future they will require us to all have sub meters that will measure what the car consumes but for now it's honesty == YES.

I wonder why they don't just require proof of registration once a year, like they do to enroll initially.

Just asked for a Vin from me. Crappy thing is they only allowed me to qualify for 1 home, but our family cabin rate was better using ev rate as well so had to figure that out.

They read it on TMC and then "no EV plan for you"
