    Hey Everyone,
On June 30th we took delivery of our Black Model 3. We've been busy working on some of the cosmetics but wanted to share with everyone our journey of customizing our car to showcase the products we carry and the services we offer. Please feel free to chime in and ask questions or request additional pictures/video's of things as we go along. To get things started his a picture of the car on delivery day. We had zero issues with Panel gap. There were several places that it appeared they tried to sand out some dust in the clear coat and there was a small dent on the decklid. Aside from those minor imperfections the car was great.

Next we took the car to Craft Detailing in Dedham Massachusetts about 5 minutes from the Dedham Service center. There we had Suntek 35% Ceramic tint installed on the front and rear side windows and the back window. The back window was done as one seamless piece.

We felt that while the Aero Wheel covers do give better range the wheels hiding under the plastic covers looked really cool and deserved to be shown. So we put on a set of our black lug nut covers and ordered a set of grey center caps from Tesla in Dedham. Here are some quick before and after and side by side shots.

Since this car is to promote the company we wanted to make sure it stood out in a crowd. We also wanted it to be quick and easy to clean and get ready for shows and events. So we went back to Craft Detailing with some examples of vinyl wraps we liked for inspiration. We wanted to incorporate the company colors into the design of the car. Lia found 2 3M colors that matched perfectly. One was a Matte Viper Green, K75542 and the other color was Matte iced blue titanium K75505. You can see a picture below. We knew where it's a black car that a chrome delete would look great so we opted to have that done at the same time as the vinyl. After speaking with Lia the shop supervisor we knew that we wanted to go with a ceramic coating to help protect the paint and make cleaning it much easier. Lia recommended that we have the paint corrected for the dust and sanding marks and then have Opti-Coat Pro applied to the paint and the new vinyl wrap. We also decided to have the front and rear T badges removed, a Performance Black Rear TESLA Badge installed. Lia and her team were super helpful with taking our vision and turning it into a reality.

We left the graphic design up to Craft Detailing to turn our examples into reality. Lia did an interesting job keeping us in suspense. She sent us a few quick color photo's of the chrome delete and what the Green looked like against the car. But after that the remainder of the time she only sent us teaser photo's in black and white.

Finally Friday came around and we had an event on Saturday so Lia and the team put the finishing touches on the ceramic coating and told us it was time to come pick up the car. Obviously the vinyl design isn't for everyone and if it weren't a company vehicle we would've went with something more traditional. That being said they nailed it with taking our color scheme, our logo and making a car that really is unique!

Quick picture of the wheels and brakes we will be installing next week. Wheels are rotary forged TSW Bathurst 20x8.5 22.5lbs and 20x10 25lbs. The brake kit comes from @MountainPass and features an upgrade from the single piece 320mm front rotor to a two piece 365mm front rotor. The kit reuses your stock caliper and brake pads.

Finally got the TSW Bathurst 20's on the car! We went down to visit Evolution Automotive on Long Island NY for a Dyno Day this past weekend. The car made 300hp and 326tq at the rear wheels on the Dyno.

Added some new brake rotors from @MountainPass and will soon have some prototype 1.5" lowering springs going on. You can view the installation video over on my friend Rich Rebuilds youtube channel here.
