Evasive manoeuvre caused damage

That's Lane Assist, which is only above 30mph, doesn't seem relevant in this case.

This happened to me today when Auto Pilot was engaged. i was in outside lane on motorway @ about 70mph. A car in the middle lane started to veer slightly into the outside lane. I instinctively steered to the right lightly, however the autopilot then kicked in at that precise time and seemed to aggressively steer to the right and judder which caught me off guard and I tried to correct to the left It was a bit unnerving really. Seems to auto pilot leaves an avoidance manoeuvre to the last second.

As I assume you weren't driving under Autosteer, which Tesla Active Safety Feature do you think will have driven you into the kerb ?

They all just apply breaking I'm afraid, avoiding will be your action.

My car has told me it has applied corrective steering even when AP is not on. This is on normal roads.

That's Lane Keep Assist, only above 30 mph on roads with clearly visible lanes.

And what is it when lane keep assist is set to rumble and car is doing less than 30? Corrective steering applied can still appear in this circumstance.
